Hey!
My name is Abhishek, but you can call me Abhi (feel free to pronounce it like Abby). I am a UX designer based in Vancouver. I have recently graduated from UBC with a Bachelor in Cognitive Systems. Initially starting out studying computer science, I felt it to be somewhat unfulfilling. I felt like the creative aspect to coding has its bounds and it made me feel restricted.
One thing I have always known about myself is that I am an extremely observational person. I may not talk too much but I love to sit back and observe people, things, actions etc., going on around me and making sense of it. So much so, that it has almost become subconscious to me.
About two years ago when I discovered UX design, it was quite apparent to me that there are so many similarities between the design process and how my mind works. The more I read about it, watched tutorials etc., the more it became obvious to me that this was what I was meant to be doing my entire life. Since then, committed myself to learning the design process and getting more familiar with the software and ideologies involved.
I love understanding people and designing interventions to ensure their best possible experience with that product. I want to be able to design products that not only are usable, but that have a positive impact in people's lives.

Alright, I know that was a lot. But if you would like to know more, let's get connected on LinkedIn and I would love to set up a chat!
